Group challenges designed for the busiest of bees. Inside Out Fitness will provide you with weekly exercise videos & nutrition guides for 4 weeks. Daily virtual support of your SWEAT therapist, Amy & your challenge warriors keeps you on track for success while offering support & motivation throughout the duration of the challenge.

What is a SWEAT Therapist?

S.W.E.A.T - Strong Willed Empower And Thrive

As a SWEAT Therapist I coach my clients to change their bodies from the inside out. If you want to lose weight and get fit you need to mentally dial into the process. Becoming healthy is a lifestyle change, not just a diet or fad. I guide my clients towards setting realistic and attainable goals. More times than not, people are physically stronger than they allow their minds to believe.  I work on tapping into your mental toughness to help connect the mental with the physical.  It won't be easy but with trust and time the results do come. 

How long have you been a personal trainer for?

8 years. I started Inside Out Fitness in 2010, a year after I received my Exercise Science Degree and ACE Personal Training Certification.


What inspired you to get involved in fitness and start your own training company?

It's cliche but a break-up inspired me to jump into a more structured fitness routine.  At that time I wanted to concentrate on myself and well-being.  I figured strength training was a good place to start.  This not only changed my physical appearance, but allowed me to feel stronger and more confident - Inside and Out.   Once I began to see results, I couldn’t stop.  

This catapulted me to go beyond the physical.  I became interested in the mechanics of strength training and wanted to have a better understanding of the human body. So, I enrolled in Quincy College’s Exercise Science Program.  While in school, I worked an uninspiring desk job.  It was that experience that made me realize that Corporate America was not for me and becoming my own boss was my career goal.   Upon receiving my degree, I made my goal a reality and Inside Out Fitness was born :)

What inspires you every day to stay motivated and fit?

My OVERALL motivation for living a healthy lifestyle is my son, Cash.  Having him at 40 inspires me to stay fit and healthy so I can be around for a long time to see him grow into a strong amazing man.  

However, prior to having my son, living a clean, healthy lifestyle was quite simply part of my daily grind, routine & soul - it’s just a part of who I am.  Although I have to admit (hey, I'm human) that there are some days that I feel like I got my ass-kicked but most days I feel strong & empowered! What's that saying? If you never taste something bitter you can't appreciate the sweet?
